What I Offer

Building Your Body Back Up

Having a muscle activation expert like myself in your network will help you improve your body and reduce problems from getting out of control - so you won't need to be sidelined from activity and so you can avoid surgical inventions or improve upon medical intervention procedures.

Helping You Feel Better

Muscle Activation Techniques® is a tool to help activate weak tissues and help you feel better. Proper movement around your joints will reduce pain, make you feel "looser" wherein you're typically tight, improve healing and offer you a lifetime of better movement and happiness.

Find Out If MAT® Is Right For You

If you're suffering from chronic discomfort, acute movement issues or complicated problems traditional approaches haven't been able to solve then MAT® may be right for you. Let's book a consultation and discuss how I can help you!

Treatment Services

Muscle Activation Techniques® Sessions

Within a MAT session we will assess your range of motion and muscle imbalances by comparing 1 joint against the other (say left knee to right knee). When we see a motion imbalance we have enough data to then apply treatment. The MAT® process officially begins when we perform a form of manual muscle testing, if the response is weak I would then manually apply tension to your under-active tissue(s) in a specific manner to stimulate a response of activation, we would check our work with the manual muscle test again to affirm proper muscle contractile ability. Once we have activated several tissues we will notice the site where I am working moves better with less impingement or tightness. Associated inflammation and pain may subside too as a result of better motion & mechanics. Homework exercises are usually applied to continue our progress at the site of weakness and inefficiency.

These sessions are usually 50-minutes or 80-minutes in length. The longer the session the more we can accomplish in that session.

Initial Intake Assessment

This is a first session for most clients. In this session we perform a detailed assessment of your previous medical and injury history, we talk through your goal(s), and begin a thorough analysis of your body's posture, and available active and passive ranges of motion at problem sites. From this session we can create a blueprint of treatment protocols to help you get back to 100% and building towards your unique physical goal(s).

Session length is 80-minutes and may include some MAT® treatment. Due to the depth of analysis no homework will be applied to make more efficient use of our time.

Complimentary Consultations

During a consultation we can discuss your injury history and current complaints and also cover the ins & outs of MAT® and what it can do for you. This is a great opportunity for someone to get a feel for how I work, where I work and have their questions answered.

Session length is 30-minutes for a consultation.
